Chatino

Version 1.1 Description ----------- Chatino keyboard uses superscript Unicode letters to represent tones in the Chatino writing system. The superscripts for "a"-"m" are available on the top row of the default layout, and uppercase versions are on the shifted layer. Digits and punctuation are found on the ctrl and shift-ctrl layers of the keyboard.

Two versions are provided for desktop:

1. Chatino provides capital letter tone marks A-L on the digits, and tone marks M-W on shifted digits.

2. The Alt-levels have digits and punctuation symbols.

3. The mobile keyboard includes accented characters and superscript tone marks as long press options on letters A-W. Note that superscripts for q and s are lower cases because the uppercase Q and S are not yet in the Unicode standard..

To use the keyboard, KeyMan software must first be installed on the computer or mobile device. Then the Chatino layouts can be installed.
